Tips events, parties and meetings, is a store where you can find the perfect decoration for your events and parties, as it features an extensive assortment of balloons, cards for any occasion, gifts, pinatas and many other details to make your event perfect.

The decorations are customized to you, there are very good and some can be simple or very flashy, it depends on what you want for your party or event.








They also have all kinds of decorations for all seasons, and for Halloween, Birthdays, Christmas, New Year, Valentine, Graduations, etc.

From the handcrafted brick ceiling dome to the custom tile work in every room, the design and detail of the home is unbelievable Whether its used for a couple of 2 or a family of 8 and their friends, this incredible beach home will give anyone the rest and relaxation they deserve. My favorite part was watching the tide come in and out just yards away during our stay with unobstructed 180 degree views of the sea from the huge windows. If you plan on bringing a lot of guests get ready to be entertained. Las Olas restaurant features a multipurpose room and special events, both are inside the restaurant, but at a side. Both have different capabilities and features, for example, the multipurpose room has a capacity of more than 30 people, and has beautiful decorations depending on usage and taste of people who want to rent.

The special events has a capacity for over 50 people, where the events will be coordinated, it is useful for small groups, conventions or parties or any social event.

The activities to be performed more frequently in place are: private parties, interviews, meetings, press conferences, training courses, etc.

Rocky Point History

History

The story of Rocky Point begins in the year 1926, when were forming small groups of fishermen coming from other nearby ports, but only came seasonally to fish mainly totoaba.

In 1932, Rocky Point had more family settlements, which began growing population and therefore a delegation of police was created.
In 1941 there were 187 inhabitants engaged in fishing or in the construction of the Sonora-Baja California railroad.

On July 9, 1952, Rocky Point was named # 48 town of Sonora.
By 1973, the then president of Mexico, Luis Echeverria, presented works of port and fisheries infrastructure, consolidating thus the main economic activity.

Speaking of history of Rocky Point, we should mention the oldest hotel and the port still stands, this is the Hotel Posada La Roca.

It is located on the boardwalk, is a stone building, built in 1927, at the beginning of this port.

It was built by John Stone, and was said to be the haunt of gangsters in 1928 and Al Capone was staying in this hotel.

Spectacular is the only way to describe this 4000 square foot, two story beach front home in the gated community of Las Conchas. Sleeping quarters consist of four large bedrooms. Artistic touches and walls of tinted glass mysteriously bring the Sea of Cortez to this home. A 22 foot high Cathedral brick dome ceiling with gold cupola reflects the sun’s rays throughout this 30 foot circular Great Room. Imported furniture, a whale’s tail coffee table, and huge white pillars, automatic gas fireplace, and Bose stereo system with 200 CD player all add to the ambiance. The large kitchen features a side-by-side refrigerator, halogen high speed cooking center, dishwasher, microwave and drinking water system. Walls of glass surround the large dining area which overlooks the sea. The large upstairs veranda is equipped with a gas barbecue and is perfect for sunning or stargazing. The master bedroom, with wall to wall glass ocean views and king-size bed, features another cathedral brick domed ceiling. The master bath integrates glass block walls with custom cabinetry and granite counter tops. The second main floor bedroom has two queen beds with hand carved headboards and its own large bathroom. The Whale bedroom downstairs has a hand carved king-size bed and large bathroom. The fourth bedroom, with walls of ocean views and queen-size sofa bed, converts during the day into a TV center with large screen satellite TV and VCR. There is a fourth bathroom off this room. Outside of this bedroom is a large covered porch. An outside whale mosaic hot and cold water shower is available. Central air/heat, an and fans in every room complete this home. Owner requests No Smoking Inside and No Pets. Sheets and towels are provided.$50 extra per person per night over 8 people - maximum 10. 2-night Minimum during the week; 3-night minimum during weekends in March, April, May, and Oct.ober and all Holidays

Rocky Point Rally is an annual event where motorcyclists gather at the port. 

This event lasts four days full of fun, music and celebration, all come here to have fun, meet people, see fancy bikes, among other things. 

This event attracts many tourists, which helps greatly in the economy of the port
